Midterm By the Pool

We just finished our three day midterm in Hoi An; it couldn’t have gone any better. We spent the time editing photos, discussing our experiences in Vietnam and discussing how we could create a project that represents all the treasures this country has to offer… and of course had some fun together performing musicals and enjoying being together

On Monday, I spent the day at the Ben San Leprosy Treatment Center just outside of Ho Chi Minh City. Words cannot describe the range of emotions I felt here. The people are resilient and their smiles are unforgettable. I will be going back at the end of November to shoot a story there. I hope that through this story people will have a stronger understanding of what leprosy is and the strong people fighting this disease.
