Last weekend I was honored to be selected to participate in the first annual VJ Multimedia Workshop that was sponsored by my school, Brooks Institute of Photography. The workshop lasted from Thursday til Sunday non stop. We had 24 hours to shoot a story and a day and a half to edit it. I have learned so much and was able to meet many well known photographers and get their advice. I just wanted to share my work with you.

I just finished a photo story on the most amazing little girl I’ve ever meet. Twelve-year-old Charlie Coons is the founder and president of the non-profit organization H.E.L.P (Hope, Encouragement, Love, Peace). Charlie makes blankets to send to orphanages and needy children all over the world.
Although Charlie is always working to raise money and find more volunteers she still finds time to be a kid, raise Wasabi, her seeing-eye-dog in training, and play her viola.

This is the my first photo story. I spent the day with Uli Rodriquez, the vocalist for the band Raelin. They’re an amazing band, and this is just a glimpse into the life of a dedicated musician. I also did a little multimedia piece that’s on the bands myspace page…
