For several weeks Maggie Starbard, Andrew Prince, and I have been locked in a tiny room editing this NPR piece. We received about 10 hours of footage on VHS tape from NASA, as well as countless clips from NASAs online archive. The goal was to create a video with footage from the first shuttle launch, sts-1 in 1981 through the most recent launch, sts-134 in 2011 and create one sequencial mission in honor of the last shuttle launch, sts-135 on July 8, 2011. Enjoy!
